It turned into an involved process over time. Currently, I draw them by hand (on engineering paper, of course!), then use a light board to ink them with a fancy set of pens my wife gave me, scan them in grayscale, and finally Adobe Illustrator to add the color fills (and effects, if any). The first few comics on here were actually color-filled with Microsoft Paint and I almost like the coloring more. I didn’t like that it was difficult to change again a second time, if I got interrupted. If you’re looking for something already on your computer, try Microsoft Paint. I think it even went 3D recently. I’m certain there are some free ones online as well.
What program do you use to create your comics?

Actually, the easiest approach is just to scan your art, b+w or colored. It doesn’t need any editing on the computer to be awesome.
